Father,
This morning we confess our need for You. Our need for Your grace. We are not always aligned with Your will yet You keep us and You are using us to build Your kingdom.
Thank You for welcoming us into Your house to serve and be served. I ask that as I pray we would be one with Your Spirit.
We confess that our hearts are often unsteady. I ask that You bring down any mountains of pride and self exaltation. Please lift up any valleys of depression or despair.
You are a great Father and You've called us to walk in Your peace.
Now as we approach Your throne of grace, draw out true confessions of sin from us. Set us free from unrighteousness and unholy patterns of thinking and behaving so that
we may be all You created us to be.
Lord, we confess that we have not arrived at perfection; that You are not done with us yet. There is still more sanctifying, growing, and recieving of Your mercy and
grace to be done. Thank You for designing the Church to be the place this happens with others believers. Thank You for making it possible through Your Son and the
blood of His cross.
In His name, amen.

Dear Father,
We have a habit of dwelling on our sin and not dwelling on Your forgiveness. Sometimes this can take us to dark places. We know that You didn't call us to Yourself
to hang a list of accusations over our heads. That is what the enemy does so that he can paralyze us and keep us from communing with You.
Forgive us for being stubborn and struggling to give up our identity as orphans. Help us to embrace the full blessing of being Your children.
We pray You would grant us a renewed vision of the gospel. Remind us that every sin we've committed or will commit has already been paid for by Jesus and there is
no debt hanging over us.
Grant us faith like children, Lord. We love You and praise You.
In Jesus's name, amen.

Father,
Forgive us for failing to pray for those around us, especially those in positions of authority. We forget and sometimes even choose to ignore the difficulties
they face each day. Those in government have been commanded by You to bear the sword. This is an impossible task without prayer. So we pray for their good. We
pray they would see good days, refrain from evil speech and pursue righteousness. We ask for humility, leaving all outcomes in Your hands. You are the One
who appoints to eternal life. You gather us and bring us under the new covenant. You sent Your Son to die and accomplish our salvation.
Thank You for this perfect gift and priviledge to make intercession for others. direct us in prayer, O God, and pour on us a Spirit of prayer that we would walk
in Your will.
Thank You for the power of Your resurrection which becomes our power, by faith, to overcome sin and live for Your glory. We love You.
In Jesus's name, amen.

Lord Jesus,
Thank You for being the friend that loves at all times. You were born in the likeness of men that we may be helped and comforted in adversity. As our elder brother You
have loved us as Yourself.
In love You emptied Yourself, leaving the glory of heaven to walk beside humanity. You gave us Your righteousness and took our shame. You saved us.
We are strengthened in You so that we will never fear wrath. We have been made priests to reign with You forever as was the Father's will. In Your name we pray, amen.

Mighty Father,
You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. You made all things through Your Son and in Him I recieve every good and perfect gift. I praise Your name for giving
me life and forgiveness of sins. When Your light shines into the darkness, I am humbled.
I confess my sins of omission in failing to do what I know is right. I also confess that I do things You have forbidden. I am prone to wandering from the path of
righteousness.
But You, God, are full of mercy and love and do not deal with me as I deserve. You wash me clean and empower me by Your Spirit to honor and serve You and a steward
of Your beautiful world.
I ask that I would make true confessions for the sake of Your great name. Please weed out the thoughts and desires that are contrary to Your word and let the truth
bear good fruit in my life.
Thank You, Father, for recieving me as Your child. I am born again by the suffering of Jesus and have now entered into newness of life. Help me live according to this
calling. I love You very much.
In Your Son's name, amen.

Dear Lord,
As I worship You this morning, I thank You for the gift of confession. You are so good to command this as a daily practice and something I get to do together with
the Church body. Please align me with Your will as I pray now.
I confess Your holiness. You are completely perfect and set apart; unlike anything or anyone else. I see Your divine power in the beautiful world You created. In
the mountains, oceans, and skies. In the faces of those around us. I see Your power in Your Son who hung obediently on the cross.
I confess my blindness to Your glory. Sin, suffering, or maybe just unwillingness to relinquish control blinds me.
I confess that if You are willing, You have the power to make me see. Please make me whole. Show me the compassion You have toward sinners. I need You. Not just
to accomplish things, but to live at all. You are my very life and I have nothing without You. I bring You my emptiness, my weariness and my shame with
confidence. I know that when I come to You, I sit before a King who is also my closest friend.
Grant me, Father, to never lose sight of the exceeding horror of sin, that I may hate it fully.
